ReplyDeleteI posted two angry posts. Then I deleted them. Because shouting at Shouting At The Telly is probably pointless. Suffice it to say that The Wire is the most involving, moving, funniest, most thrilling and entertaining television experience I've ever had. In my life.
ReplyDeleteIt's sad that loving something so much provokes sneering accusations of pretension.
I haven't quite got used to the fact that other people can read this.

Shouting at the Telly: Fundamentally For People Who Are Dead Inside.
Ah. Just me, then.
People I trust say it's wonderful, so I recorded the first episode when it was on BBC2 the other night. I forgot to record episode 2, so I deleted the first one unwatched, taking it as some kind of sign.
ReplyDeleteI love Buffy. Wire fans like, totally suck ass.
ReplyDeleteQuite enjoying the idea of pitting the davidsimonverse 'gainst the Wheedonverse.
