Waiting for Goddard

Good to see Jim Bergerac's arch-nemesis, aristo jewel-thief Phillipa Vale, alive and well in Doctor Who. Sadly she's regenerated from 'bubbly' Give Us A Clue stalwalt Liza Goddard. Not sure that dry bleached perm would have survived the alien desert.

  1. and...and...and...and!!!!!!

that was my favourite nurse from Angels...although 'hearing things' is a bit of a new thing for her.

This episode was panned by the critics but I thought it was actually quite good, and I have to admit that I think Michelle Ryan is a criminally under used actress - and generally deserves better.

  2. I really enjoyed it. It was neat, cute and fun. Michelle Ryan was good, I'd like to see her back, perhaps vs the Doctor's daughter in a Tekken kinda way.

I always liked Pauline Quirke in Angels. That had one of the best opening title sequences ever.
